The challenging triangular parcel, which includes a section situated in a flood plain and is adjacent to a greenway, originally seemed unbuildable. Rather than viewing these site conditions as limitations, the design embraced them, allowing the unique geometry and natural surroundings to become integral to the residence’s identity.

The property includes a main dwelling characterized by expansive glass walls that blur the lines between interior and exterior spaces. Complementing the main house is an accessory dwelling that is situated above a detached three-car drive-thru garage. These two structures are connected by a large sliding privacy gate, creating a dynamic entry sequence and enhancing the sense of security. Steel plays a prominent role in the exterior articulation, most notably in the construction of the striking flat roof. Robust steel channels lend both structural and aesthetic appeal. A generous rear yard features a large swimming pool, hot tub, and patio. 

Inside, the design emphasizes clean lines and spatial continuity. The alignment of windows and walls across two floors fosters a sense of visual harmony. Concrete stucco sheer walls, punctuated by dramatic two-story glass elements, introduce visual texture and allow for abundant natural light penetration. A remarkable covered two-story outdoor space on the back patio serves as an extension of the interior living areas, facilitated by sliding full height doors on both the ground and upper levels that open fully.
