“Urban District Market” revitalizes two bowstring trussed masonry buildings into a dynamic 20,000 sq ft cultural and culinary hub. This vibrant venue caters to local and global communities, offering family-friendly facilities, food stalls with diverse offerings, and endless outdoor activities. The food stalls, supermarket, and brewery/ distillery share resources while maintaining individuality. From the groundbreaking “LaBARatory” to “Taco Adventure Company (TA Co.),” a range of global cuisines thrives. This market weaves community, flavors, and design into urban splendor, a must-visit destination along Charlotte’s Cross-Charlotte Trail.

Because Cluck loves to be the mirror to their clients, we were especially excited to work with the owners to turn their very own wedding venue into the multi-stall food hall that they envisioned. Finally, a newly constructed pavilion bridge crosses over the XCLT Trail allows pedestrians to stroll between buildings and highlights the need for connection.
