Ashley River Center Observation Tower

The Ashley River Center is focused on preserving the natural habitat of North Charleston’s Ashley River while introducing smart development for the residents of the area. The tower’s design gives visitors a panoramic view of the surrounding environment, while making the Center visible from I-26. Currently much of the area is occupied by defunct shipping yards, but future plans promise to develop environmentally sensitive and sustainable communities, in effect extending the historic fabric of old Charleston north along the Ashley River.
