Chiron America North American Headquarters
Charlotte, NC
This project quickly earned the nickname "The House for the Machines that make Machines". The design for Chiron America's North American headquarters is a fitting solution, combining all of the industrial, office, museum, and showroom elements into a 53,000 sqft machine-like metal clad form. The design won top prize of the 2004 AIA Charlotte Design Awards Competition “The jury appreciated this large corporate office and manufacturing facility for clarity in its planning and for the explicit use of architecture as part of the company's identity”. 2004 AIA Charlotte, Jury Comments
